First things first: Welcome, everyone, to Trulof! I am glad this community is growing bit by bit.

What I’ve been up to lately…

At the beginning of the year, I had a clear path and calendar of what I wanted to write every month, and how the progress of my recently launched blog would be. However, things aren’t going as planned, and having a blog is more difficult than it seems. There is a lot of research involved, as I want to provide legitimate content and not copy-paste from Chat GPT. Apart from that, there is a big learning process, from how to set up the website to finding out my own voice and tone when I am writing the blogs, or how to structure the post so they are easy to read. I am telling you, there is a lot of work behind the scenes.

For the ones who have been here from the beginning, you have noticed from April I have been really quiet (no articles at all). The reason why is because sometimes we need to slow down or even stop, rest, figure out where we are and then keep going with a new or same direction and go even stronger than before. I used April to work behind the scenes on something that you will see soon, I also translated the website into Spanish so I could share my project with my family, and I took time for myself and friends too (as you know, I work full time, I was also studying for a Professional Diploma, I am involved in a few Green Programs, and I have this blog with its corresponding social media—my hands were pretty full, and they still are right now 🙂).

So, I was kind to myself and slowed down a bit. Now with more time, a clear idea and a better organisation (this is not fully true), I am back! I might not be able to write a post weekly or even fortnightly but I will be consistent.

💭 Sometimes the best thing you can do for your project—and yourself—is to pause, breathe, and come back stronger. Don’t let the pressure of productivity steal the joy of creating.
